After making the exciting decision to join our network as a franchisee, we make sure the ensuing steps are smooth, painless, and informative. Our application process is designed to supply you with the information you need to make an informed decision, and guide you through the early stages of franchising.

Participate in Background Screening and Information Gathering

To ensure that potential franchisees are capable of making an investment, we do require a few financial prerequisites. We want to make sure you’re financially prepared for the challenge of running your own franchise. In addition to our comprehensive Discovery Experience, we can also provide you with an extensive collection of materials and literature that fully outlines what you should expect as a new franchisee. Investing in a franchise is a big decision, and we want our franchisees to be fully informed and empowered before taking the leap.

Meet with the Franchise Development Team

This is your chance to really sit down with us and hear what starting a bookkeeping franchise is all about. Our experienced Franchise Development Team will answer your questions, and discuss what motivated you to embark upon a franchise opportunity with Supporting Strategies. It’s important for us to learn what experiences set you apart from other candidates, and what makes you a good fit with our brand and team. Remember, franchisees are members of our family, so we want to really get to know you before welcoming you with open arms.

We’ll clearly explain to you our expectations, and what you can expect from us along the way. We will also put you in touch with other current franchisees, who are invaluable fountains of advice and input.

Submit, Review, and Sign the Franchise Agreement

Your Franchise Agreement will detail all the terms of our partnership. This includes designation of your exclusive marketing territory, franchise fee, royalties, our training and support structure, and more.

We encourage you to review the document carefully and reach out with any questions you may have. We’re happy to connect you with our Franchise Development Team or current franchisees to get the answers. Before signing the agreement, it’s important that you feel like you have a thorough understanding of what it means to be a Supporting Strategies franchisee.

Attend Training

Once you’ve read all about the opportunity, met with our Franchise Development Team, and had your application accepted, we’ll line up training seminars for you to attend to ensure you and your staff are fully prepared to open your doors. We offer an extensive suite of educational and training materials, called Supporting Strategies University (SSU). SSU is our best practices repository, including on-demand video-based courses and a library with standardized procedures, customized templates and articles on bookkeeping, operations, business development, franchise management and more. In addition to video courses and training, we have live support and training available as well. 

Join Cohort

Congratulations! You’re officially part of the Supporting Strategies team! We’ll assign you a cohort of approximately eight other franchisees, so you can all exchange ideas and receive support. These continuing relationships are an essential vehicle for staying connected with other members of the Supporting Strategies family.
